Q: Do you need a permit to use N-Zyme?
A: No. A permit is not required to use N-Zyme, as the product contains a select blend of bacterial cultures & other ingredients that are all naturally occuring in lakes and ponds.

Q: What is the difference between Powder and your other lake and pond bacteria products like muck pellets, tablets, blocks, and so on?
A: Powderized forms of bacteria like N-Zyme work best for clearing up murkey water within the water column and digesting decomposing algae mats & or other dead, floating aquatic vegetation. Pellets, tablets, blocks and other solid forms of muck reducers are best to use if your main goal is to reduce muck & sludge on the bottom of lakes and ponds. N-Zyme will help reduce some level of bottom muck but if your main goal is to clarify your ponds water then you will have better results with muck reducer tablets or pellets.

Q: Is this product safe for fish?
A: Yes. N-Zyme will not have negative effects on existing fish and wildlife populations

Q: Can N-Zyme be used with a Herbicide or Algaecide?
A: Yes. N-Zyme can be used with a herbicide or algaecide. We recommend applying N-Zyme shortly after a herbicide or algaecide treatment to enhance decomposition and subsequent muck removal.

Q: How can I get the best results with N-Zyme?
A: Since N-Zyme contains active organisms, the warmer the water the more activity will result. Do not apply when water temp was under 60 degrees F.

Q: Will my results improve if I use more N-Zyme?
A: Not necessarily. You are better off to apply every 2-4 weeks instead of more in each application.

Q: How quickly will I see results?
A: Your results will vary depending upon temperature, extent of the imbalance and overall water quality. That being said, you should notice improvements within 4 to 7 days of an application.

Clear water from N-Zyme

Been using N-Zyme for years in my Japanese koi pond. Water is so clear, you can see babies in the deep end. (8ft deep)
