Good holder
I got this for my Ion ice auger, and it works perfect, it holds it very ferm, not sure about what others are referring to as needing both sides clamped. I am using it as it was sent, and it hold the auger very firm with no movement, and i'm not thinking its going to come loose either, its really a good product.
