The kit combines a lake pump intake filter, lake pump check valve and irrigation suction hose with the fittings needed to connect to compatible irrigation pumps.

Keep the Intake Filter Up Off the Bottom
The stand holds the intake filter above the lake or pond bottom to help reduce sediment intake.
Set the filter height to suit your bottom conditions. The stand is made primarily of aluminum, lightweight for easy maneuverability, yet offers a large footprint for added stability. It includes a sandbag that can optionally be used in areas with strong water movement.

Heavy-Duty Irrigation Suction Hose
The main irrigation suction hose between the filter and the pump.
The heavy-duty flexible PVC suction hose is 2″ in diameter and is also compatible with pumps with a 1.5″ intake by using the included 2″ to 1.5″ threaded reducing adapter.
The hose is fitted with 2″ female camlocks and includes a pair of 2″ male couplings so it can be quickly connected and disconnected from the filter and your pump intake.
Installation
Installation Steps
Follow these steps to set up the suction side of your lake irrigation system.

Place the stand
Place the filter stand on a stable base near the water’s edge with the filter tank positioned upright.

Connect the hose and check valve
Attach the suction hose to the filter and connect the check valve between the filter, hose and pump.

Set the height
Adjust the stand height so the filter inlet sits just off the bottom.

Secure and prime
Secure the suction hose with the quick-connects and prime the pump.
