The Jaws of Ice is a heavy-duty, fully adjustable ice auger rack designed to keep your auger secure, protected, and easy to access while traveling across the lake or trail.
Use the Jaws of Ice auger mount as an ATV ice auger mount, ATV ice auger holder, snowmobile ice auger mount, UTV auger carrier, trailer-mounted rack, or custom ice-fishing auger storage system.
Its adjustable support arms and removable jaw inserts let the carrier accommodate virtually every style of ice auger, including gas augers, electric augers, battery-powered augers, cordless drill augers, round shafts, and newer hex-shaft designs.
Mount the Jaws of Ice to a metal ATV rack, snowmobile bumper, UTV, trailer, cargo basket, custom platform, or a compatible Polaris Lock & Ride setup. Multiple mounting systems let you configure the same carrier around the machine and mounting surface you already own.

The two auger supports slide independently along the Jaws of Ice crossbar. This lets you change the distance between the supports to accommodate different auger lengths, powerheads, flights, and shaft configurations.
The mounting points below the crossbar are also adjustable, giving you approximately 8 inches to 24 inches between mounting locations. This flexibility makes it easier to configure the Jaws of Ice as an ATV ice auger holder, snowmobile rack, UTV carrier, or custom auger mount.

The standard U-bolts are ideal for turning a compatible metal ATV rack into a secure ATV ice auger holder. They also work on compatible snowmobile bumpers and other tubular metal mounting points.

Lock Your Auger Into the Jaws of Ice in Seconds
- Adjust the support positions.
Slide the two auger supports along the crossbar until they properly support your auger's shaft, flight, and overall configuration. - Set the jaw inserts.
Use the removable inner inserts for thinner shafts or remove them when a larger shaft needs additional clearance. - Place the auger into the carrier.
Set the auger securely into both open jaws. - Close the locking arms.

Installation
Installing Your Jaws of Ice Auger Mount
Standard ATV or Snowmobile U-Bolt Installation
- Measure the metal tubing.
Confirm the ATV rack or snowmobile bumper fits within the current U-bolt dimensions before beginning installation. - Choose the carrier location.
Make sure the auger will clear the operator, controls, windshield, lights, suspension, tracks, and cargo. - Adjust the lower mounting points.
Position them anywhere within the approximately 8-inch to 24-inch available spacing range. - Install the U-bolts.
Secure the Jaws of Ice evenly to the compatible metal rack or bumper. - Adjust the upper auger supports.
Position both jaws around your specific auger. - Load and test the auger.
Lock the auger into both jaws and confirm it cannot slide, rotate, or interfere with the ATV, UTV, or snowmobile.
Universal Quick-Attach Installation
