Very Pleased! In Florida, ell grass has become immune to herbicides. I dreaded having to go into the lake and dive to the roots of the ell grass. I heard about the weed shear and ordered one. I love it. It works. You need to watch the video and pull the shear the way they say and you too will be amazed at the volume of weeds it will cut. It really does work. I was super excited to try out my weed sheer this past weekend and it was awesome. Of course the first time I did it I forgot to hold on to the rope but my hubby was a pro. We thought it was heavy at first but he could throw it really far and it cut through the weeds and lily pads. Wish the razor covers were a little longer. Best on the market!!!! Every year we deal with curly pond weed in our modest 1/4 fishing pond. This year with the mild winter the weed completely took the pond over. Every bit of open water was covered. We tried other methods that were either very slow or EXTREMELY labor intensive. We decided to order the Weed Shear and it was the best decision we ever made. In just under an hour I, by myself, had cleared an area 11' X 25'! I assure this isn't a joke. It is does require effort when retrieving the Shear but the effectiveness far out weighs that effort and to see everything in its path float to the surface is very satisfying! After one full day of use! After one full day of use I accomplished more than I thought possible. I have only used the AGV once so far but, I am impressed with how well it worked on my cattail issue in my front pond. Works Perfectly. I spent 2 days clearing out a ton of land-based grasses that had grown in an area of shallow water. The AVG works amazingly well. It is solidly built and had enough power that it did not bog down even when I dug into the bog quite a bit. I would highly recommend this product. Works like promised. We have an area in our pond with lots of water lilies and were looking for a eco-friendly way to get rid of them. The mower worked well for cutting the lilies but it takes to people in the boat. Performs as Advertised. I am using the cutter for about two acres of "water shield". So far it has performed reliably and set up was fairly easy. A couple comments: it is awkward and heavy. Attached to front of Jon boat and pushed forward. In thick weeds would have one person keeping weeds from building up on cutter arm (drag issue), and if you are paddling - have at least two doing it in thick weeds. It Really Works! We had been using a landscape rake to keep the weeds down but it was a losing battle. The first pass with the Beach Roller took me 3 days to do my 120' of bulkhead and all around my 2 docks. I had to clean the roller every other time I pushed it out, but after that it got to be a lot less work. After using once daily I had no weeds and a sandy bottom after ten days. I've been using it once every 2 or 3 days now and after 4 weeks I have a hard packed sandy bottom. The Beach Roller got rid of the weeds and the muck and without the use of chemicals. I do recommend it for those in good shape or those wanting to get that way. I wish a hard cover was offered for it as it has very sharp teeth. I recommend the Beachroller. I learned about this product from my neighbor who had been to a boat show. I went online and found it at Weeders Digest. The Beachroller arrived quickly and was easy to assemble (except for one hole in the pvc that wasn't completely open - I carved it out with an exacto blade). It took about 20 minutes. A friend gave me a tip to put all the bolts in the handle going in the same direction, to avoid his mistake. The direction sheet could be better; it has very small print & the photos are not not clear against the yellow background.
The Beachroller performed well, pulling in unbelievable amounts of thick dense weeds carpeting the bottom. I wore rubberized gardening gloves to remove the mat of weeds from the roller. I used this in combination with a lake rake to collect weeds that floated on the surface.
After letting the weeds dry out some on the shore, I hauled them to the compost pile. To keep your lake in decent condition & be a good neighbor, don't put them back in a deeper part of the lake or on to your neighbor's. Now that the big mass of weeds is out it should be pretty easy to maintain the lake bottom.

Amazing Tool! I purchased the T-Weeder as a gift for my husband. We had been fighting algae and weed growth in our large natural backyard pond all summer. We tried skimming, we tried adding an expensive algae liquid compound, we tried pulling by hand (very tedious and time consuming)...all to no avail. My husband was skeptical for all of 20 seconds after opening the package. With the first toss of the T-Weeder, he was hooked! Literally! The amount of weed and algae clean up that occurred in the next two days was phenomenal!
