That being said, the rake is designed to rake and collect dead debris and weed sitting below and above the water. If your goal is to pull or cut weeds we suggest buying one of our weed cutters or pullers.

The Rakezilla handle easily comes apart down into 4-foot extensions, making it portable and easy to store.

The kit includes two tools:

• The Weed Shear - a razor‑sharp aquatic weed cutter (cuts a 4’ wide path) with two 2’ extension handles, 25’ throw rope and sharpener.

It’s designed for submerged and emergent weeds, e.g. milfoil, hydrilla, lilies, as well as floating vegetation mats. The cutter sinks to the bottom and cuts, the rake then pulls and removes debris.

The rake comes standard with a 7‑ft handle (2‑piece) and rope for retrieval. An optional upgrade to an 11‑ft (3‑piece) handle is offered. Choose based on water depth and reach required.

First run the weed cutter through the growth to sever plants at the bottom. After the vegetation has lifted or floated, use the rake to skim, collect, scoop and remove material.
