Macro-Zyme Muck Pucks are designed for easy spot treatments around docks or swimming areas. They should be applied every 2-3 weeks when water temps are right. Use blocks for on-going time-release treatment lasting up to a month per block. To maximize the performance of this beneficial bacteria, consider adding Kasco aeration and/or circulation products to your pond or lake as well.

Noticeably better
We have been using muck pucks for years in our beach area and where the boat lifts are. We have vegetation in that area, and have been using the beach roller to try to get most of it out and then using the muck pucks to get rid of the muck. We have been doing this for the past six years, slowly. We use to have muck up to our knees when we walked to end of the boat lift. Now it is at least half if not more. We can at least walk out to the end of the lift without feeling like we will be swallowed up by the muck.

Macro zyme muck pucks 5 stars ?
I have used the pellets with some success but these larger pucks seem to work better for me. I live at the end of a channel on a spring fed lake which the previous owners neglected. It has taken 7 years of pulling out leaves and we finally have clear sand and some beneficial weeds for the fish.
