FAQ

FAQs

What’s the total assembled weight of the UltraLite Rake?

The rake weighs 4-7 pounds (depending on handle length), making it easy to use for kids, seniors, or anyone wanting a lighter alternative to heavy-duty rakes.

Is the handle adjustable for different heights?

Yes. It comes with a multi-piece handle that can be assembled to different lengths. Ideal for adapting to user height or raking distance.

How does it perform in water versus on dry land?

It performs well in shallow water for light surface debris, floating weeds, and algae. It’s less effective for digging into dense, submerged muck.

Can it pull heavier aquatic weeds like milfoil or curly-leaf pondweed?

No. It’s best for light-duty work like clearing duckweed, small twigs, leaves, and surface algae. Use the WeedShear or Rake Zilla for heavier vegetation.

Does it come with a rope or float option for throwing and pulling?

Yes - a throw rope is included, as is a float kit for skimming.

Will it rust or degrade if left outside?

No. It’s made from aluminum materials that resist rust. However, storing it out of direct sun or water when not in use will extend its lifespan.

Is assembly required when it arrives?

Only minimal assembly is needed.

Very light, and very versatile. Does floating weeds and buried (growing weeds on the bottom). Excellent product.

    Ultralight rake 24"

Posted by Scott on 5th Mar 2021

Just got this and it is light weight and seems very sturdy. Went with the 24 inch model so as not to get too heavy with weeds. wish it came with some sort of adapter to attach the short "L" handle directly to the rake head. Cant wait to try it out!
