Mounting & Installing Your Dock De Icer

The first thing to consider before purchasing a dock de-icer is how you will mount and install it.

There are 3 options to consider when mounting your de-icer. These options include a universal mount, an industrial mount and a suspended mount.

The universal and industrial mounts attach to your boat dock and can be angled to create an oblong shape of open water around your boat dock.

The universal mount is ideal for lakes or ponds where the body of water is mostly calm. The industrial mount is ideal for lakes and streams where strong currents are present.

The suspended mounting option creates a circular shaped opening around your boat dock and is ideal for mostly calm waters.
