The base accepts a spinning or baitcasting rod in the adjustable holder. The trigger mechanism is built to release your setup when a fish strikes, eliminating the need to bring the fish in by hand with loose line spread across the ice.

You can choose light, medium, or heavy trigger settings. Use light for smaller panfish or gentle strikes, medium for general use, and heavy for larger fish, heavier presentations, or windy conditions where false flags are more likely.
