Here's a step-by-step guide to setting up your AquaThruster based on the transcript from the video:

***Understand the Regulations: Before you begin, ensure you understand the regulations of your own state in regards to how the AquaThruster should be used.***

1. Initial Clean Out Phase:

Run the AquaThruster continuously for 1–3 days. For muck, position the motor 6–8 inches above the muck line.

2. Adjustment For Severe Muck Problems:

Lower the AquaThruster gradually as the muck level reduces. Avoid trying to move large chunks at once.

3. Positioning Your Motor:

Keep the motor nearly horizontal and slightly tipped up to direct water over the muck line, which breaks and lifts particles.

4. Setting the Oscillator:

Oscillator rotates 20° every 20 minutes up to 360°, then reverses direction and repeats the cycle.

5. Maintenance Phase:

Raise the motor to 12–13 inches above the bottom. Adjust cleaning frequency from 2 to 7 days a week based on conditions.

6. Setting the Timer:

Use the dual-outlet timer to automate motor and oscillator on preferred days/times. Plug directly into your power source.

7. Enjoy Your Clean Waterfront:

HORSEPOWER OPTIONS

Choosing the right size AquaThruster™ blower motor depends on what you're trying to accomplish, how large of an area you want to clear, and how much muck, sludge, weeds, leaves, and debris you have on the surface and bottom of your lakefront.

All models except the 2 hp models come with the clog-resistant Sure-Flo Technology Aquaticlear Cage. A masterpiece of engineering to prevent debris buildup.

MOUNT OPTIONS

DOCK PLATE MOUNT

The Dock Plate Mount connects to both the top and side of your dock using bolts. It's a great choice if you don't need to move it often.

• Ideal for wood & aluminum docks and people who are able to drill holes in the decking and side of their dock.
• The AquaThruster can easily be removed from the mount for easy storage.
• Can be used with or without the 360 Oscillator

DOCK POST MOUNT

The Dock Post Mount attaches to any dock leg/post up to 4" OD. It can quickly be mounted and relocated to another dock post as needed which helps maximize coverage area.

• Easy to move from post to post as needed!

• Can be mounted anywhere above or below your docks surface.
• Fits square and round dock posts up to 4" wide.
• Can be used with or without the 360 Oscillator.

The HD Dock Post Mount is recommended for use with 1HP AquaThruster motors and is required for 2hp.

TRUSS DOCK MOUNT

The Truss Dock Mount is a "sandwich style" mount attaches to the side of any truss-style dock. It can be moved anywhere around your dock allowing you to manage more area effectively.

• Can be used with or without the 360 Oscillator.
• Easy to move from anywhere along the dock truss.
• Only compatible with truss docks.

360 BOTTOM FRAME MOUNT

The Portable Bottom Frame mount enables you to use your 360-degree oscillator without mounting it to a dock!

FREESTANDING FRAME MOUNT

This is a great option if you don't have a dock, you want to set up your AquaThruster away from your dock, or you're not planning on purchasing the 360 Oscillator. With this choice, you can cover more ground by simply moving it along the shoreline as needed.

This mount is not compatible with the 360 Oscillator.

Aqua Thruster 360

Unlike many of the other reviews, we didn’t need algae blown away from the surface of our dock. We have, or I should say had, a serious “muck” problem. We live off an inlet to the Ohio river and sediment flows down nearby Kentucky hills and is deposited in from of our dock. Combined that with decaying leaves, tree branches and dead fish, we had a serious much problem. We purchased a *XYZ Muck Blower* about two years ago and after the second gasket leaked and blew the GFI we had had enough and started searching for a better product. We stumbled across the Aqua Thruster but was hung up on the $2500 cost (3/4 HP with 360 oscillator). We had paid less for the ^XYZ blower*. After about 5 months of going back and forth, we finally took a leap of faith and purchased the AquaThruster about 2 weeks ago. I can completely confirm that in that two weeks we have moved about 2-2.5 feet of muck from underneath our boat lift. This was just enough muck removed to get our new 30’ boat onto the lift just last night- which we were ecstatic about. If you are on the fence about this product, spend the money. I can confirm it does move muck and, while I’ve only had it two weeks, it seems to be a much built much better and a more reliable product than our previous experience. (WeedersDigest has removed the competitive product name and replaced it with the *XYZ* brand in this review)

This unit did in one day what all other attempts to clean my lake front couldn't do in months. Very happy and no chemicals. Awesome tool for a lakefront home owner.

Money well spent

I use to rake for hours, moving muck, debris and floating weeds. In a few hours, this thing moved all the loose debris, muck and leaves away from our shoreline and dock. We have a nice sand bottom! We run it periodically just to keep surface gunk away. Wife loves beung able to get her kayak in without trudging through the muck. I love this thing!! One criticism, is the mount could be improved to remove the unit from the mount easier. And to have the ability to "spin" the unit to change direction easier. Yes you can losen the hex bolt then spin it, little inconvenient. All in all, very happy we bought this. Time and back saver.

After battling muck and weeds along my dock and shoreline for five years with a dredge, rake, aeration system, and muck pellets, I can honestly report that the Aquathruster 360 has done more to improve the quality of my waterfront in three weeks than all of my previous efforts combined. This machine is a godsend. Easy to set up and program, I have gained two feet of water depth around my dock in less than a month. It is not cheap, but it is very well built and produces a very strong current. As many others have reported, my neighbors are planning to purchase Aquathrusters of their own after seeing my results. This product is worth every penny for those struggling with muck and weeds along their dock and waterfront. Although expensive, the Aquathruster is money well spent, and will be recouped several times over by increased property value when we go to sell.
