Description

Extra-Wide, Extra-Long Lake & Beach Rake

Cover More Shoreline With Every Pull and Reach Farther Into the Water

The Super Wide / Long Lake & Beach Rake combines a massive 48-inch screening-style rake head with your choice of an 11 ft or 16.5 ft handle, giving lakefront owners a wide, long-reach tool for weeds, algae, leaves, sticks and beach debris.

Use it on the lake bottom to gather loose aquatic vegetation and debris, on sandy shorelines for beach grooming, or attach the included float to skim weeds and algae from the water’s surface.

  • 48-inch / 4 ft wide screening-style rake head
  • 11 ft or 16.5 ft handle options (16.5 ft adds a 5.5 ft extension)
  • Handle can be shortened when full reach is not needed
  • Detachable float and throw/retrieval rope included
  • Reinforced teeth for the wider head
  • Lightweight aluminum and plastic construction

One Rake, Three Cleanup Jobs

Rake the Bottom. Skim the Surface. Groom the Beach.

Shoreline cleanup rarely happens in only one place. The same rake can work below the water, at the surface and across the sand.

Rake Lake Weeds & Debris

Use the rake without the float to pull loose aquatic vegetation, algae, leaves, sticks and other debris from shallow-water lake and pond bottoms.

Skim Floating Material

Install the included float to keep the head near the surface and collect floating weeds, algae mats, leaves, pine needles and other debris.

Groom Sandy Beaches

Use the 48-inch screening-style head on the shoreline to cover a wide strip of sand with every pass and collect surface debris quickly.

Super Wide Lake Rake showing 16.5 foot handle and 4 foot wide rake head
48 Inches of Coverage

A Full Foot Wider Than the Standard Long Reach Lake Rake

The Long Reach Lake Rake has been a popular shoreline rake for years. This Super Wide version takes the same long-reach concept and increases the head from 36 inches to 48 inches.

  • 4-foot raking path: cover more lake bottom, water surface or beach with every pass.
  • Reinforced teeth: built to handle the additional stress of the 4-foot-wide head.
  • Long reach: choose 11 feet, or add the 5.5-foot extension for a total of 16.5 feet.
Choose How You Want to Reach

Use the Handle Up Close or Toss the Rake Farther Out

For weeds and debris within normal reach, use the long handle from the shoreline, dock or shallow water. When you need to reach beyond the handle, connect the included rope and toss the rake head farther into the target area. The rope lets one person pull the rake back from deeper or more distant water without wading all the way to the debris.

11 ft Handle

A strong choice for routine shoreline, dock and beach cleanup when you want long reach without the maximum handle length.

16.5 ft Handle

Uses the same components as the 11 ft configuration plus an additional 5.5 ft extension. Remove the extension when a shorter setup is easier to control.

Know What a Rake Can and Cannot Do

Excellent for Cleanup, but Rooted Weeds May Need to Be Cut First

The Super Wide rake can grab and pull some aquatic weeds, especially loose or lightly rooted vegetation. Firmly established weeds may not release cleanly with a rake alone.

Use the Rake Alone

Floating weeds, algae mats, leaves, pine needles, sticks, shoreline debris and aquatic vegetation that can be pulled from the bottom without a dedicated cutter.

Cut Then Rake

For weeds that remain firmly attached to the bottom, cut the vegetation first with a tool such as WeedShear, then gather the cut material with the Super Wide Lake Rake.

Maximum Width + Maximum Reach

Cover a Bigger Area Without Giving Up Shoreline Reach

The Super Wide / Long Lake & Beach Rake is built for customers who want more coverage than a traditional long-reach rake can provide. Choose your handle length, use the float when surface skimming, remove it for bottom and beach work, and use the included rope when the weeds or debris are beyond normal handle reach.

How to Use

Rake, Skim or Toss

How to Use the Super Wide Lake & Beach Rake

Eight steps from setup to storage.

  1. Choose the Handle Length

Set up the 11 ft handle or add the 5.5 ft extension when you need the full 16.5 ft reach.

  2. Choose Bottom or Surface Use

Remove the float for beach and lake-bottom raking. Install the float when you want the rake to stay near the surface.

  3. Rake With the Handle

Work the 48-inch head across the target area from shore, a dock or shallow water and pull weeds or debris toward you.

  4. Toss When More Reach Is Needed

Attach the included rope, cast the rake head beyond normal handle reach and pull it back through the target area.

  5. Skim Floating Debris

With the float installed, pull the rake across floating weeds, algae, leaves and other surface material.

  6. Groom the Beach

Use the rake head directly on sand to gather leaves, sticks, pine needles and other beach debris over a wide path.

  7. Cut Dense Weeds if Needed

If firmly rooted vegetation will not pull free, cut it first with an aquatic weed cutter and then rake the loose material.

  8. Rinse and Store

Remove weeds and debris after use, rinse the rake and break down the handle when a shorter storage configuration is preferred.

11 ft or 16.5 ft

Provides substantial shoreline and dock reach without the additional leverage and overall length of the full extension.

16.5 ft · Maximum Handle Reach

Received our lake rake just a few days after ordered. Took it to the camp an immediately put it to work. The area around our dock is free of duckweed and now our grandchildren can fish. Great product.
