The Super Wide / Long Lake & Beach Rake combines a massive 48-inch screening-style rake head with your choice of an 11 ft. or 16.5 ft. handle, giving lakefront owners a wide, long-reach tool for weeds, algae, leaves, sticks and beach debris.
Use it on the lake bottom to gather loose aquatic vegetation and debris, on sandy shorelines for beach grooming, or attach the included float to skim weeds and algae from the water's surface.

The extra-wide head is useful because shoreline cleanup rarely happens in only one place. The same rake can work below the water, at the surface and across the sand.

The Long Reach Lake Rake has been a popular shoreline rake for years. This Super Wide version takes the same long-reach concept and increases the head from 36 inches to 48 inches.

Use the Handle Up Close or Toss the Rake Farther Out
For weeds and debris within normal reach, use the long handle from the shoreline, dock or shallow water. When you need to reach beyond the handle, connect the included rope and toss the rake head farther into the target area.
The rope lets one person pull the rake back from deeper or more distant water without wading all the way to the debris.
A strong choice for routine shoreline, dock and beach cleanup when you want long reach without the maximum handle length.
The longer version uses the same components as the 11 ft. configuration plus an additional 5.5 ft. extension. Remove the extension when a shorter setup is easier to control.
Excellent for Cleanup, but Rooted Weeds May Need to Be Cut First
The Super Wide rake can grab and pull some aquatic weeds, especially loose or lightly rooted vegetation. Firmly established weeds may not release cleanly with a rake alone.

Use the rake for floating weeds, algae mats, leaves, pine needles, sticks, shoreline debris and aquatic vegetation that can be pulled from the bottom without a dedicated cutter.
Dense or Firmly Rooted Weeds
For weeds that remain firmly attached to the bottom, cut the vegetation first with a tool such as WeedShear, then use the Super Wide Lake Rake to gather and remove the cut material.

How to Use the Super Wide Lake & Beach Rake
Choose the Handle Length
Set up the 11 ft. handle or add the 5.5 ft. extension when you need the full 16.5 ft. reach.
Choose Bottom or Surface Use
Remove the float for beach and lake-bottom raking. Install the float when you want the rake to stay near the surface.
Rake With the Handle
Work the 48-inch head across the target area from shore, a dock or shallow water and pull weeds or debris toward you.
Toss When More Reach Is Needed
Attach the included rope, cast the rake head beyond normal handle reach and pull it back through the target area.
Skim Floating Debris
With the float installed, pull the rake across floating weeds, algae, leaves and other surface material.
Groom the Beach
Use the rake head directly on sand to gather leaves, sticks, pine needles and other beach debris over a wide path.
Cut Dense Weeds if Needed
If firmly rooted vegetation will not pull free, cut it first with an aquatic weed cutter and then rake the loose material.
Rinse and Store
Remove weeds and debris after use, rinse the rake and break down the handle when a shorter storage configuration is preferred.
