Description

Efficiently Remove Aquatic Weeds with Weed Ray

The WeedRay is completely customizable right out of the box. It easily adjusts for any condition. Long weeds, short weeds, broadleaf, etc. The optional poles allow you to make it as long as you want for those hard to reach areas.

When using the WeedRay, either the 11ft or 23ft model, it glides across the top of the water as you push it out and drops down exactly where you want it. Once it hits the bottom, you just pull it in. It’s that simple.

The weeds fall easily to your dock or shoreline by simply turning the handle one quarter turn in each direction. Your hands stay clear and clean. If you don’t want to bring them up, simply flip it around and it will slice them off at the base. When you’re done, it folds up smaller than the average garden rake and stores safely away.

  • Made of corrosive resistant components
  • Collapsible
  • Adjustable for all weed types
  • All parts are replaceable
  • Optional 4ft extension handles can be added to the 11ft model for a max reach of 23ft.
  • Made in the USA!

FAQ

FAQs

What makes the Weed Ray different from other lake weed cutters?

The Weed Ray has a curved V-shaped blade design that maintains consistent bottom contact while cutting, unlike straight-edged rakes or cutters. It comes equipped with an adjustment knob with locking teeth–allowing you to adjust to the optimum angle for your cleanup project.

Is the Weed Ray effective on thick or rooted weeds like lily pads?

Yes, it can slice through rooted vegetation like lily pads, cattails, and milfoil when used with steady forward or backward strokes.

How deep underwater does the blade reach?

The Weed Ray can reach up to 23 feet and it’s also ideal for shallow areas and shorelines by simply reducing the handle length with easy on/off couplers.

Does it require sharpening or maintenance?

Minimal maintenance is needed. Wipe clean after use and inspect the cutting edge occasionally. Sharpen with a flat file if needed.

Can the Weed Ray be used from a dock or boat?

Yes. However, it’s best designed for use while standing on your dock, in the water, or from the shoreline.

Is the blade safe to use around fish or turtles?

Yes, with responsible use. The blade cuts plant matter but it’s not a mechanically moving blade, so it poses minimal threat to aquatic life

How wide is the cutting path per stroke?

Each pass cuts about 24 inches wide, allowing for quick clearing of narrow shoreline zones or dock path

Will this work on muddy or rocky lake bottoms?

Yes. The Weed Ray glides smoothly across mud, sand, or gravel. However, avoid large rocks, which can dull the blade or stop movement.

Is it safe for teenagers or older adults to use?

Yes. It’s lightweight and designed for ergonomic control, but users should still wear gloves and water shoes for safety.
