Insert spacer bolts and snap the handle together and you are ready to start cutting in just a few minutes! Tie the cord around your wrist, toss the Weed shear into the target area, let it sink to the bottom, and pull the cord back towards you in a “jerking” motion. It’s as simple as that! WEEDS
I purchased the 49†Weed Shear as I had first hand knowledge from my neighbor that it worked and worked well. Shipping from Weeders Digest was fast and assembly of the Weed Shear was quick. The product is deceiving, you throw it out pull the shear toward you and nothing- but wait, 15/30 seconds later the weeds float to the top. Soon you have got a mess of weeds and a lot of clean up. What a great product.!

Excellent!
This cutter is awesome. We had long weeds around our dock and I did not like swimming in our lake. I do weed cutting every week with this and it is so much fun. My kids even love to do it. Throw it out there and yank it in, watch the weeds float to the top. I now have a clear dock area to swim and we are working on the muck problem with the pellets that Weeder Digest sell. Those work well but has a very slow reaction time, been 2 seasons now of using them but seeing improvements. I highly recommend this weed cutter!

No Complaints
Purchased because I had cattails in the center of pond I couldn't get to. This thing worked great. I added another nylon rope to extend the distance. The carrying case is recommended because the blades are very sharp. I'm glad the cutter worked just as the description said it would. Very happy customer! Thank you!!

Weed Shear
The weed shear performed as advertised as I was able to slice through our weeds with ease. Due to the rocky lake bottom, I needed to sharpen the blades to keep it cutting effectively. Knowing that, I was able to maximize my time in the water by touching up the edges as needed.
